Abstract :
The deployment of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) instead of conventional relay systems represents a notable advancement in wireless communication technology RIS are capable of intelligently manipulating radio signals and adjusting phase shifts, leading to enhanced signal quality and improved energy efficiency. This paper examines the efficacy of the Dimension-wise Sinusoidal Maximization (DSM) algorithm in a MIMO multi-user system equipped with dual RIS. The findings indicate that increasing the number of RIS units significantly boosts telecommunication capacity and reduces energy consumption compared to configurations with a single RIS.
